Are markers required to position the model?

No. NEXT-BIM performs alignment without markers (markerless).

1) Site capture:
The LiDAR (iPad Pro / HoloLens) generates a 3D mesh of the environment.

2) 3×3 surface matching:
You select three real surfaces (e.g., floor, wall, slab) and their equivalents in the model; the initial position is calculated.

3) Automatic overlay & continuous tracking:
Our algorithms continuously compare the LiDAR mesh to the model to correct any positional drift while you move. → No QR codes or physical targets required. Works offline as well.

Can multiple BIM models be overlaid?

Yes, NEXT-BIM supports large files and the import of multiple 3D models.
