DIGITAL AS-BUILT
DIGITAL AS-BUILT
With the NEXT-BIM Augmented Reality solution, compare the 3D model with reality, detect deviations instantly at any moment, and generate your AS-BUILT deliverables in just a few clicks.

Continuous as-built tracking in Augmented Reality. Up to 70% time savings on your as-built operations.
A DOE that accurately represents the construction site, with more zones covered. Each observation is linked to the model, located and documented.
Deviations are identified progressively, before they become irreversible, not only at the end of the project.
BCF, Word or Excel reports for the DOE are available immediately and shareable with all stakeholders.

With NEXT-BIM, Augmented Reality transforms the as-built process into a continuous control workflow, directly on site.
The BIM model is superimposed onto reality at 1:1 scale, making it possible to verify compliance between design and execution in real time.
Each built element — equipment, networks, etc. — is visually compared with the BIM model.
Areas that are usually invisible (under slabs, false ceilings, technical openings) remain precisely locatable without interpreting drawings.
Deviations are immediately visible, measurable and documented: comments, photos and measurements are directly linked to the model and automatically integrated into reports (Word, Excel, BCF).
This results in a reliable and verifiable AS-BUILT Documentation, produced without re-entry, with significant time savings, enhanced legal traceability, and objective proof of compliance.
With NEXT-BIM, contractors and project owners anticipate non-conformities, secure deliverables, and strengthen transparency and collaboration on site.

Quality control, error detection.

Verification of the received model after construction.

NEXT-BIM enables smooth inspection in Augmented Reality without complex preparation. Here are the key steps of the process:
Step 1 – Superimpose the 3D model onto reality
NEXT-BIM technology automatically aligns the 3D model with the real environment, without markers or manual calibration. Alignment is continuous. The superposition remains reliable and precise throughout the visit, even while moving on site.
Step 2 – Compare design vs execution
The user visually compares the model with reality at 1:1 scale.
Differences in openings, equipment, networks, clearances or heights become immediately visible, without interpreting drawings.
Step 3 – Annotate and measure on site
When a deviation is detected, an annotation is immediately created on site. Deviations are documented and georeferenced directly in the 3D model. Annotations include photos, comments, statuses and precise measurements of differences between the model and reality.
Step 4 – Generate and share reports
Annotations are automatically exported into reports (BCF, Word, Excel). Deliverables are ready to be shared.

3D scans and 360° cameras are useful for capturing a site status at a given time for archiving or visual proof.
However, they require post-processing to compare the 3D model with the construction site, which delays analysis and decision-making.
Immediate model vs reality comparison, directly on site
Deviations visible instantly, without post-processing
Annotations and measurements integrated into the model, exportable in one click
Decisions made directly on site with all stakeholders
The NEXT-BIM Augmented Reality solution fits during execution, where quality, schedule and costs are determined.

The as-built process with NEXT-BIM is not limited to visualizing the model in Augmented Reality.
It makes it possible to identify, qualify and track deviations directly on site, thanks to tools designed for field control and traceability.
Yes, each annotation can be categorized and sorted in the report.
Yes, this is one of the most common use cases (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
